NET-ClassR is a system, which provides an interactive, secure and easy to use interface for instructors and students alike. It allows them to follow and manage web-based asynchronous courses using standard web interfaces. The major features of NET-ClassR include forum, e-mail, online exam, gradebook, and student tracking, and lecture notes.

The following tools can be used by instructors:

  • Syllabus
  • Schedule
  • Lecture Notes
  • Assignments (instructor can give assignments and students can submit them online.)
  • Announcements
  • Class e-Mail List
  • Class Forum
  • Online Exam

In addition to abovementioned tools, instructors can store their lecture materials for use in other semesters.

NET-ClassR is also used by Süleyman Demirel University and TOBB University. METU, MIT, GATA and Harvard Coorporation also uses another modified and down sized version of NET-ClassR.
