The group focuses on the state of the art technology and applications in the computer networking area and conducts research reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the field. The main objective of the group is to foster practical issues as well as theoretical studies in computer networking in general and wireless communications in particular.  The research areas of the group include, but are not limited to:

  • Computer networking protocols and architectures
  • Wireless and mobile communications
  • Ad hoc and sensor networks
  • Communication security
  • Multimedia communications
  • Pervasive and ubiquitous computing
  • Performance evaluation
