The team coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Taşkaya Temizel has been awarded in the International D4R-Data for Refugees competition.

METU faculties received awards at theOutstanding Young Scientists Award Ceremony organized on December 26,2018 by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) as part of theOutstanding Young Scientists Award Program.

Assoc Prof. Nurcan Tunçbağ, from Graduate School of Informatics Department of Health Informatics, received the TÜBA Outstanding Young Scientists Award this year.

Gökçen Yılmaz, Ph.D. graduate of Information Systems Department, has been awarded “Prof. Dr. Mustafa Parlar Education and Reasearch Foundation, METU Thesis of the Year Award”.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurcan Tunçbağ  has been awarded UNESCO L'OREAL National For Women in Science Award in Life sciences category.
