Regarding 2026-2027 Fall Semester Applications and ALES/1-2026 Process

Applications for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester graduate programs at our University will be accepted via the online application system between February 23, 2026 – March 27, 2026, as previously stated in the academic calendar.

Due to the earlier application schedule this year, a special application and evaluation process will be implemented exclusively for this semester by our Institutes. This measure aims to prevent any grievances for candidates planning to take the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES/1-2026) on May 10, 2026.

Candidates applying within this scope must pay attention to the following points:

1. Application Process and Dates All candidates, including those who will take the ALES/1-2026 exam, must complete their applications through the online system between February 23 – March 27, 2026.

2. Procedure for Candidates Awaiting ALES Scores Candidates who do not currently hold a valid ALES score but are registered to take the exam on May 10, 2026, must follow these steps:

  • Log in to the application system and upload all other required documents (transcript, letter of intent, reference letters, etc.) requested by the program, excluding the ALES score document.

  • The ALES scores of these candidates will be automatically retrieved from the system by the Institute once the results are announced by ÖSYM (Estimated Date: June 5, 2026). Candidates do not need to submit this document manually.

3. Evaluation Calendar The evaluation of applications will be conducted in two separate timelines:

  • Candidates with Existing ALES Scores: Applications of candidates with complete files will be evaluated and concluded within the dates specified in the current academic calendar.

  • Candidates Awaiting ALES/1-2026 Results: The evaluation process for these candidates will take place at a later date following the announcement of the exam results. The results will be announced separately.

Very Important Notice: This exception applies strictly to the ALES document. Applications of candidates who are missing any other mandatory documents (e.g., transcripts) as of March 27, 2026, will be rejected immediately, regardless of their pending exam results.

We wish all candidates success.
