IS100 PROFICIENCY EXAM (September 22, 2024)

IS100 Introduction to Information Technologies and Applications is a non-credit but mandatory course that all METU students have to take during their undergraduate education. Students entering METU who pass the English Proficiency Exam (EPE) and obtain first-year standing have the opportunity to exempt themselves from this course by taking the IS100 Proficiency Exam on September 22 and scoring at least 60 out of 100.

If you are eligible to take the exam, you will receive a notification email for registration. Online registrations will close at 15:00 on September 22. Please be aware that the registration period is extremely limited.

Keep an eye on your student e-mails (metu-mails) on an hourly basis on September 18. Eligible students for the IS100 Proficiency Exam will be notified via metu-mail and must apply immediately upon receiving the notification. The students who passed EPE by objection will receive the e-mail at 9:00 on September 22.
